Why I have been gone

Hello everyone!

Sorry I have not been posting my laptop broke and school has kept me very busy!

Luckily there are a lot of good posts coming up! I am happy to announce that my family is going to Disney for Christmas so I will have a lot of good information on that. As well as an interview post from my friend who will be competing in the cheerleading meet in Disney so I will also have some guidelines on that! Finally more posts with some of the best photo spots in the parks!

Where to Stand

There are so many great places to see Happily Ever After but to matter where you stand it is such a magical show! Here are some tips for you so that you know you are getting the best view! There are lights in the center before the castle and they can block a little view of the castle, so standing directly in the center even if you are far back if a good view. Make sure you stand within the lines so the cast members don't yell at you! People can be fisty when trying to get a spot so get there about 20 minutes before and do not move because people have no mercy! 

To loud for your kids

Happily Ever After is mostly projections on the castle, there are lots of fireworks as well. The show is all on a soundtrack so there is not a lot of loud parts. There is one battle scene that gets a little loud but it passes by fast. If you are worried that your kids won't like it there are videos on youtube and I suggest watching them before but don't show it to your kids because it takes away the magic! 

Timing

Happily Ever After usually playes between 8-8:30 p.m. but each day can be different so on the Disney Parks app it can tell you when each show starts that night. If it is thunderstorming or bad weather that day sometimes the show will be cancelled they will make announcements and they will send you a notification on the app. 

Overview

Happily Ever After is my favorite nigh time show in Disney. First it starts with some narrirations and slowly lights up the castle and then it goes into almost a music video. Lots of Disney characters will dance around in the projection and there music will be playing. It is amazing how the imagineers planned the video perfectly to line up with the castle. There are fireworks in the beginning and end to go along with the projections. It is truly the best show Disney has made in a long time!

DINOSAUR- Take a tour back in time to save

Dinosaurs from extinction scary dark loud

roller coaster 40 inch.

Primeval Whirl- Travel on a time machine

roller coaster back to when there were

dinosaurs! 48 inch.

TriceraTop Spin- Dinosaur version of

Dumbo flying in the air in a dinosaur NO HR

ASIA

Expedition Everest- Awesome roller coaster

and you might even see a Yeti one of my favorite

rides!! LONG lines FP 44 inch.

Kali River Rapids- On a raft going through a water

ride sometimes you get soaked and others barley

get wet I guess you have to find out! Very short ride

for the really long waits FP 38 inch.

Maharajah Jungle Trek- Walk through ancient ruins

of Asia and you might even see a real tiger! NO HR

DISCOVERY LAND

It's tough to be a bug- fun 3D show about bugs life

fun and there are some acts of the bugs show that

get a little out of hand you feel ants crawl around

your seat and get poked but it all a fun scary I love it

NO HR

Adventures Outpost- Meet some characters in their

safari outfits! NO HR

PANDORA

Flight of Passage- Riding on a banshee back 3D

amazing you feel the banshee breathing and an

awesome ride but it does get a little intense

LONG LINES they are the longest ride in Disney

right now so as soon as you can get fastpasses

GET THEM  44 inch.

Navi River Journey- Boat ride through the world

of Pandora cool ride but not worth the waits

medium lines NO HR

If you have time to just walk around Pandora and

look around beautiful and amazing get lots of

pictures there!

AFRICA

Kilimanjaro Safaris- safaris where you get to see

all the animals amazing a must do ride at night

because that is when the animals are most active

in the spring Long lines FP NO HR

Festival of the Lion King- it’s just a show where

people play lion king parts, short waits NO HR

Finding Nemo the Musical- same thing as festival

of the lion king except finding nemo characters,

short waits NO HR

SHOWS

River of Light- Water show in Discovery River with
singing and cool lights, no disney characters in show
more of a spiritual thing not my favorite show but
cool to see

Rock 'n' Roller Coster- Upside down dark roller

coster very fast but awesome LONG lines FP 48 inch.

Tower of Terror- Old hotel going up and down

taken over by ghosts scary medium lines 40 inch

Indiana Jones- Stunt show about Indiana Jones NO HR

Walt Disney One Man's Dream- Museum about how

Walt planned the parks and about his life good way

to kill time no lines NO HR

Mickey and Minnie Starring in Red Carpet Dreams-

Meet Mickey and Minnie get autographs and Pictures

TOY STORY LAND

Story Mania- Electronic game shooting at the targets

3D fun LONG lines  FP NO HR

Slinky Dog Dash- roller coaster themed as the slinky

dog from toy story just opened in June and lines are

not terrible if you ride in the morning LONGER lines

better to get a fastpass for toy story mania because

there lines are longer and they are in the same tear

so you can only pick one FP 38 inch.

Alien Swirling Saucers- get on your toy rocket ship

and hold on tight as the aliens spin you through space

medium lines 32 inch

SHOWS

FANTASMIC- Villain firework show dark loud scary

Addison did not like it on an island and show is on

the island and over the water if you want to know

if your kids would like it you can go on demand

and watch it

Test Track- Fast moving car jerks and sudden stops

dark first part and then outside fast driving part up to

The Circle of Life- Show about how to save the

Soarin'- Flying through the air on a glider seeing

places all around the world smelling different

landscapes and so much more! My family's favorite

ride in Disney! FP 40 inch.

Epcot Character Spot- Meet characters that change

occasionally might not always be the same one medium

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel- Carousel in front of
Cinderellas castle normally lots of younger kids are in
line not neccessary to ride NO HR

Dumbo The Flying Elephant- LONG lines so get FP or
ride in the morning flying elephant machine very
short ride! NO HR

The Barnstormer- Goofy's roller coster small good for
kids short waits 35 inch.

It's a Small World- Singing dolls from all different
cultures boat ride normally short lines NO HR

Mad Tea Party- Spinning tea cups themed for Alice
in Wonderland shorter waits sometimes you can
meet Alice in front of the ride NO HR

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh- Story
about Winnie the Pooh slow moving fun for kids
medium wait times you can also meet Pooh and
friends outside. Also there is an interactive wait
line for kids NO HR

Peter Pan's Flight- Flying boat over Peter Pan
scenes interactive regular line definitely FP
LONG lines but very fun ride for kids NO HR

Mickey's PhilharMagic- show that is fun and
good for killiing time and not a necessity to
watch 3D but the Kids will love it! NO HR

Princess Fairytale Hall- You can meet Princess
they alternate so there might not always be the
same ones LONG waits definitely FP NO HR

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train- short roller coaster
fast with with drops definitely ride when in
MK FP 38 inch

Under the Sea Journey of the Little Mermaid- slow
moving story of the movie medium lines but definitely
a good ride for your kids ride in the morning and
there should not be a long wait NO HR

Enchanted Tales with Belle- kids are given
characters to play and you perform and
suprise Belle! After you get a bookmark
from Belle and a picture with her NO HR

ADVENTURELAND

Jungle Cruise- Ride around on a boat with
animatronic animals and tour guides and a
good way to cool off through the waterfalls
longer lines but not to bad NO HR

Pirates of the Caribbean- Pirates and boms
loud probably not the best for little
kids NO HR

Swiss Family Treehouse- not a ride but tree
house based on the book, walk aorund and
see the different rooms good way to kill
time NO HR

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin- Just like Dumbo
except magic carpets shorter lines than
Dumbo NO HR

Enchanted Tiki Room- Tropical birds and
very colorful flowers in a 10 minute musical
show not a must do NO HR

Country Bear Jamboree- Western show
with funny singing bears NO HR

FRONTIERLAND

Splash Mountain- a water boat ride
(first 10 minutes) and 50 ft water drop,
you will get wet! My family's favorite
ride definitely a must do FP 40 inch.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- wild
west roller coster more fun at night
fast but no drops FP NO HR

Tom Sawyer- island based on Tom
Sawyer and there are adventures
like in the bookthat you can do.
There is a boat that goes back in
forth and it closes at sunset NO HR

LIBERTY SQUARE

Haunted Mansion- slow moving
ghost story ride SCARY for
little kids NO HR

Hall of Presidents- animatronmic
presidents talk about themselves
good way to kill time NO HR


TOMORROWLAND

Space Mountain- dark fast space
adventure LONG LINES FP a little
scary but one of my favorite
rides 44 inch.

Astro Orbiter- kids under 7 must be
with an adult space rockets flying in
the air similar to Dumbo and Aladdin
but faster and higher NO HR

Carousel of Progress- 22 minutes show
about the evolution of technology boring
probably not a must ride NO HR

Monster inc laugh floor- more of a show
good way to kill time funny and ac theater
so a good place to cool off NO HR

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin- shooting
target game for points themed to toy
store NO HR

Tomorrowland Speedway- slow moving car that
you drive on a track kind of like bumper cars to
drive alone must be 52 inch. anyone under
must be with an adult

Peoplemover- train moving tour of Tomorrowland
outside and a good way to take a load off your
feet and a nice breeze NO HR

Shows

FESTIVAL OF FANTASY- parade with lots of floats
so fun to see in the afternoon nice to sit on the
street and get some ice cream

HAPPILY EVER AFTER- Firework show best show in
Disney! Shows every night projections on the castle
cancelled is it is stormy outside

Move It! Shake It!- dance party where you can dance
on street with characters
